Trever is the founder and president of Clearwater Lake & Pond, a professional lake, pond, and stormwater management company serving clients throughout North and South Carolina.

What began with an old pickup truck, a jon boat, and a genuine love for the water has grown into a trusted company serving private landowners, communities, commercial properties, and public organizations across the Carolinas.

Trever and his wife both come from agricultural families, where they developed an early appreciation for hard work, stewardship, and the natural resources that sustain communities. That upbringing shaped his respect for land and water and continues to influence the way he leads Clearwater today.

Trever earned a bachelor's degree in horticulture from NC State University and is a Clemson Master Pond Manager and NC Stormwater SCM Certified Inspector. That combination of education, hands-on experience, and entrepreneurial drive has shaped how he built and leads Clearwater — blending technical expertise with a commitment to innovation and lasting value for clients and the industry.

Outside of work, Trever is an avid outdoorsman with a lifelong passion for fishing, from freshwater lakes to offshore waters. He enjoys sharing both fishing and hunting adventures with his wife and son and is also very active in his church. He is passionate about the health of aquatic ecosystems, the continued advancement of the lake and pond management profession, and supporting those entrusted with stewarding these resources.
