SLMP has made it more cost effective for you to bring more of your staff to the summit.
What’s included: 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 receptions, interactive roundtable discussions, workshops for owners and staff & all presentations!
Need to add more people after you’ve made your initial registration? Just email Maryann at Info@lakeprofessionals.org
You will renew your organization’s membership for 2026 along with your summit registration. Your one annual membership fee is for your entire organization so you only pay that once no matter how many staff you bring. If you are new to the organization, select the membership option that best fits you this year. Not sure which option to choose, just ask!
Non-Exhibiting Vendor Policy
Purpose
The SLMP Summit exists to provide a high-quality educational, networking, and sales environment for registered exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees. This policy protects the investment of paid participants and ensures a fair, professional, and respectful business atmosphere.
Definition
A Non-Exhibiting Vendor is any company, representative, or individual attending the event with the intent to solicit business, distribute promotional materials, or meet with clients or prospects without purchasing an exhibit space or sponsorship as designated by show management.
Policy
Cancellation Policy – Effective for the 2026 SLMP Annual Summit
The Society of Lake Management Professionals (SLMP) invests significant time and resources into event planning, marketing, program printing, food & beverage guarantees, and contracted obligations with the host venue. The following cancellation policies are designed to protect the integrity of the event, the commitments made by SLMP, and the value provided to all participants.
The SLMP annual membership fee is automatically included in every registration type.
Membership fees are non-refundable, regardless of cancellation date.
Refund Schedule
All individual refunds apply only to the registration portion, excluding the non-refundable membership fee.
More than 60 days before the Summit
31–60 days before the Summit
30 days or fewer before the Summit
Because exhibitor participation includes significant advance promotion (website listing, social media exposure, exhibitor map placements, printed program inclusion, etc.), refunds decrease as the event draws closer.
Refunds apply only to the exhibitor booth fee, not to the membership fee.
Exhibitor Refund Schedule
More than 90 days before the Summit
61–90 days before the Summit
31–60 days before the Summit
30 days or fewer before the Summit
Note:
• Exhibitor registrations may be transferred to another representative from the same company at no cost.
• Booth spaces may not be resold or transferred to outside companies.
SLMP begins promoting sponsors immediately upon commitment, and sponsor benefits are delivered throughout the promotional cycle (website listing, email banners, signage creation, program placement, social media mentions, etc.).
Because these benefits are received regardless of event attendance:
Sponsor fees are non-refundable.
Sponsor packages may be transferred to another representative from the same company, but cash refunds are not offered under any circumstances.
Individuals, exhibitors, or sponsors who do not attend the Summit forfeit all fees paid.
No refunds or credits will be issued.
If you are unable to attend:
Transfers must be submitted in writing to SLMP staff.
If SLMP must cancel the event for reasons beyond our control (natural disaster, venue closure, etc.), SLMP will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include:
Membership fees remain non-refundable.
