Tom Warmuth is the Manager of the Lake, Pond and Municipal Segment for BioSafe Systems. As well as being involved on the boards and committees of several regional APMS societies, he is a recent Past President of the Western Aquatic Plant Management Society and the 2020 recipient of the Aquatic Plant Management Society’s Max McCowen Friendship Award.   Tom grew up in Fairport Harbor, on the northeast Ohio shores of Lake Erie.  He is a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Biology. Starting his career in Florida, Tom’s over 23 years of experience began in college while working in mosquito and public health pest control, then environmental consulting and permitting, and aquatic weed management. For the past 15 years, he has worked with peroxide algeacides and lived in North Carolina with his wife, Sara.
