Trent Lewis earned his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics in 2000 from Texas Tech University. After a few years of experience in other industries, Mr. Lewis began PondMedics in 2004 with his wife, Emily Lewis – civil engineer and lead hydrologist for PondMedics. Mr. Lewis is a Senior Consultant with PondMedics, specializing in areas such as hydrographic surveys, dam/spillway rehabilitations, stream and stormwater conveyance management, hybrid shoring solutions, multi-scale dredging and wetland/riparian surveys using fixed wing and multirotor drones equipped with a payload of infrared sensors.
Mr. Lewis has been the President of the Upper Trinity Conservation Trust the last seven years. Additionally, Mr. Lewis serves as the Aquatic Plant Management Society, Texas Chapter President. Mr. Lewis also serves on the board of directors of the Society of Lake Management Professionals. Mr. Lewis is active and often presenting to groups such as Texas Floodplain Managers Association, Texas Rural Water Association, Texas Parks and Recreation Society and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Trent resides in Grayson County, Texas with his wife, Emily, and their six kids. When Trent is not busy at PondMedics, he’s enjoying spending time with his family doing things like hunting, fishing, sporting clays, riding motorcycles and traveling.
