29 Sep Anthony Monroe – Director
Anthony Monroe graduated from the Ohio State University in December 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Fisheries Biology. While attending school, he held a seasonal position with the Ohio EPA performing water quality sampling on streams and rivers throughout the state. Following graduation, he worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, where he developed a deep appreciation for aquatic ecosystems and the important role they play in our communities.
Anthony joined Jones Lake Management in 2008 as a Field Biologist on the fish distribution team. In 2011, he relocated from Ohio to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to help establish Jones' second satellite location. Three years later, he relocated again to Nashville, Tennessee, where he still calls home today. As the Nashville Branch Manager, he developed extensive experience managing complex fisheries and helping restore and improve countless hypereutrophic water bodies.
Today, Anthony serves on Jones Lake Management's Regional Management team, overseeing operations across Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Throughout his career, he has remained passionate about improving water quality, enhancing fisheries, and preserving aquatic ecosystems for future generations. Having spent nearly two decades in the lake and pond management industry, Anthony is committed to advancing the profession through education, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices among industry peers.
When he's not working, Anthony enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, hiking, and staying active. An avid musky fisherman, he has a deep appreciation for the outdoors that extends well beyond his professional career. Whether on the water or on the trail, he enjoys every opportunity to connect with nature and the people who matter most to him.
